“Carol-Ann Boothe, Director Risk Management KPMG USA, was elected to the Association of Chartered Accountants (ACCA) Global Council at the Annual General Meeting In London on November 21, 2019.

  • Carol-Ann was the Chair of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountant (ACCA) USA Members Network for 2017-2019, Vice Chair of the ACCA USA Members Network from 2015-2017, and has been the ACCA Washington DC Chapter Head from 2013. Carol-Ann also served as Treasurer and President of the ACCA Women’s Sodety South East Olvl.sJon In London, UK from 1997-2000.
  • Carol-Ann has been the Education Director of the Association of Government Accountants (AGA} Montgomery/Prince Georges Chapter, and is serving as Secretary on the Executive Board of the National Association of Black Accountant (NABA) Washington DC Chapter. Carol-Ann has been a part-time Becker CPA Instructor for over 8 years and is an active member of the ln. stit ute of Chal’te re-d Accou ntants of Jamaica (ICAJ) and Jamaican Natfonals Association of the Washington, DC Metropolitan Area (JNA).
  • Between May and June 2019, Carol-Ann received the following distinguishing awards for going above and beyond in giving back to the accounting profession:
  • May 3, 2019 – Accounting Leader of the Year, NABA;
  • May 8, 2019 • Outstanding Board Member/Special Achievement Award, AGA;
  • June S, 2019 -2018/2019 AGA Montgomery/PG Chapter Volunteer of the Year;
  • June 10, 2019, ACCA USA’s Advocate of the Year;
  • June 13, 2019, ACCA USA valued service as US Committee Chair”
