Reggae Night Celebration
JNA Represents at Embassy of Jamaica Reggae Night 2026
On February 26, 2026, JNA was represented by President Carol Ann Boothe and Assistant Treasurer Colin Boothe at the Embassy of Jamaica’s Reggae Night celebration in Washington, D.C., held under the theme “Rhythms of Resilience.”
The event featured a Reggae Exhibition and honored Mrs. Patricia Chin, Co-founder of VP Records, for her contributions to the global development of reggae music.
JNA was pleased to participate in this vibrant celebration of Jamaican culture and extends sincere thanks to His Excellency Major General (Ret’d) Antony Anderson, Ambassador of Jamaica, and Mr. Emile Wallace-Waddell, Community Relations Officer at the Embassy of Jamaica, for the invitation.
It was also an honor to meet His Excellency Nestor Mendez, Ambassador of Belize, and Mr. Rick Nugent, President and CEO of the Jamaican Association of Maryland, and to discuss opportunities for collaboration among our organizations.
