JNA Black History Month Celebration 2026

The Jamaican Nationals Association of the Washington, D.C. Metropolitan Area (JNA) successfully hosted its Black History Month Celebration on February 22, 2026, at the Silver Spring Civic Center.

The event brought together community members, leaders, and supporters for an engaging afternoon of reflection, inspiration, and cultural pride. The program featured presentations, a panel discussion, and the swearing-in ceremony of the JNA Board of Directors and Strategic Governance Advisory Council.

Attendees enjoyed a vibrant cultural experience, including networking, fellowship, authentic Jamaican cuisine, and exciting prizes and surprises.

Despite adjustments due to weather conditions, the event was well attended and received very positive feedback, marking a strong start to JNA’s 2026 program year.
