STRENGTHENING TIES: Jamaican Nationals Association of Washington, DC meets with Ambassador Audrey Marks

WASHINGTON, DC: On Thursday, August 2, 2018, the Executive Board and Committee Chairs of the Jamaican Nationals Association of Washington, DC (JNA) met with Jamaica’s Ambassador to the United States, Her Excellency Audrey Marks for an inaugural meeting at the Embassy of Jamaica. The purpose of the meeting was to discuss enhanced partnership opportunities with the Embassy and the diaspora. Led by Dr. Elaine Knight, President of JNA, key items discussed included the organization’s upcoming 50th anniversary celebration in 2019, supporting initiatives such as the scholarship awards program, and events within the community.
